Gentle readers,
I promise to continue on our Raising Cain journey and finish the last few chapters soon. I'm amazed at how fast time passes when there is a little one about. Babies and kids are extraordinary but they sure do suck up a lot of your time. In a good way, though. Lest anyone think I am upset with my son for demanding my attention.
I also promise to comment on entries of those who have posted before me. Despite my untimeliness, I do value your thoughts and interpretations of the material we are reviewing. It is why we started this book club adventure.
And so, having said that, I must ask: What are we reading next?

What are we reading next? Your choice, but would you mind if we waited until June? This next month is set to be crazy. We could post our individual book reviews while we're waiting to start a new book - rating children's books and parenting books.
I'm glad you're behind too. =) I only have two chapters left - and the last one is called "What Boys Need" so I'm really looking forward to that one. Don't worry about getting behind - it helps me relax a bit about this.
I don't mind waiting until June. I'm so excited for your trip to Disney World! I can't wait until you come back and have a gazillion photos and stories to share with us. Do you work on a laptop? If so, will you be taking it with you or journaling in some fashion so you remember everything?
I do work on a laptop and will probably bring it with - especially to take the pictures off the digital camera every night so we don't run out of memory.
As for journaling, I'm going to try to not hook up to the internet access provided in the rooms - I think my husband would kill me if I started blogging while on vacation.
Of course a few updates once in awhile wouldn't hurt.
As far as journaling, I'll be making some journaling boxes (for my real scrapbook) before we leave and hopefully filling them in each night.
I am so excited for this trip - and it's not until Oct. My friend and I are truly going crazy with the planning.
